This tool gives you access to the older style Maya mirroring method and the newer mirror cut method while generally being faster to use and less complicated than the Maya default way of mirroring. It also has some useful modeling tools related to mirroring. Mirror exactly how you want in Autodesk Maya.

FEATURES:
-Mirror mesh x, y, z, or flip mesh x, y, z, in one click
-Mirroring is based on object's current pivot point
-Checkbox to create mirrored meshes as instances
-Checkbox to automatically combine meshes and merge overlapping verts during mirroring instead of creating two meshes, verts are merged with a user defined radius
-Checkbox to create a mirror cut geometry node +/- instead of a mirrored mesh
-Checkbox to flip UVs on mirrored mesh
-Duplicate a mesh with history in one click, helpful for creating multiple primitives each with a different number of segments
-Instance a mesh in one click
-Convert selected instances to regular objects, de-instance them
-Combine selected meshes, and merge overlapping verts with a user defined radius. Works on instanced objects as well
-Combine/merge selected meshes is context sensitive, will combine and merge meshes, selected verts, or if one mesh is selected will merge all verts for fast model clean up
-Colour coded buttons to visually identify which axis you want to mirror or flip on
-User defined settings persist after Maya restart
-Toolbox takes up minimal screen space so you can leave it open while you work
