Exports the current selection to a temp.ma, temp.obj, or temp.fbx file on your hard drive. This is useful to quickly grab parts of a scene and import them into another scene without wasting time in menus. If you have two copies of Maya open you can use these scripts to copy/paste selection between them, for example if you don't want to close your main Maya, but want to import part of a scene from the other Maya.
